I'm Back...

Wow, its been a while since I last blogged. I have kept up with reading many blogs, but I just haven't taken the time to actually post anything. We had a wonderful visit with family while they were here. The kids played so much and had the best time. While I was away I received a blog award! It came from Robin @ www.robinlynne.org, please check out her blog.
Also while away, my daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed. I have been playing nurse for several days. She is feeling better everyday. I've read two great books and done lots of laundry. Our garden has been giving us lots of goodies and its been a joy to pick, cook and most importantly eat all those fresh veggies. We're also in the process of "putting up" pickle. So..its been a pretty busy summer so far and we're having a good time. Well, time to get back to the pots on the stove. I'll try to post more often!

It was great chatting with you! YOURS was the only Adult Conversation I had today! Seriously the HUBS is getting ready to leave and will be gone until sometime in August. So thanks for the GREAT conversation!
I caught up on your blog I am adding you to my lIST! Congrats on your blog award! DO YOU LOVE THE FOOD NETWORK? I LOVE IT AND OH YEAH I LOVE TOP CHEF ALSO!

O also I like my Seafood steamed. Down here they do tons of boiling and frying of the Seafood. IN Maryland it is steamed...steamed Chesapeake Blue Crabs, steamed shrimp and crab legs! AH and the vinegar they put on the Table and the RED cocktail sauce...yum!

When I ask for Vinegar or red cocktail sauce they ask me where I am from! lol They usually serve TARTAR sauce with everything down here! It has changed alot over the last 9 years and I see more places adding a side of RED Cocktail sauce with the Tartar but still no no no Vinegar like up in Maryland.

Did you make your school decisions for the fall yet? I think you had mentioned trying to get her to a nice school? Is that right?

Glad you're back!
